TA Timetabler
Our flagship application, TA Timetabler is the UK's first web-based application dedicated to the efficient scheduling of teaching assistants and learning support assistants. It is available for use in secondary schools throughout England, Wales and beyond.
TA Timetabler uses Wonde to connect to your school's MIS and is compatible with SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor and many more, covering over 95% of English and Welsh secondary schools.
The main features of TA Timetabler include:
- TA/LSA timetables can be quickly created and customised, taking into account: preferred TA/pupil combinations and preferred subjects for each TA and by prioritising the pupils most in need of TA support.
- TA/LSA absence can be managed effectively. Pupils/classes that would be supported by the absent TA are highlighted and prioritised. Redeploying other TAs, as appropriate, can be managed in a straight-forward way. Each TA timetable can be communicated quickly to the staff members.
- Pupils with SEND that are absent can be quickly identified, and TAs redeployed if necessary.
- TAs/LSAs can be easily allocated to custom lessons to effectively manage exam access arrangements, intervention sessions and lunch time activities.
- One and two week timetable cycles and all timetable structures are supported, with no limit to the number of periods
- Each TA/LSA timetable can be easily viewed, exported, printed and emailed to learning support assistants and to teachers.
- Teacher and pupils timetables that show the TA support they have can also be easily viewed, exported, printed and emailed.
- View-only access can be given to any/all staff members in school, to give them up-to-date information on the learning support pupils are receiving
- TA/LSA timetables are easy to read and highlight which students need support in each lesson
- Settings are carried over each academic year to make the process even quicker each time.
